How to Shop Our Live Jewelry Catalog with Your AI Assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, and More)
You can now shop our live catalog through your AI assistant. If you use Claude, ChatGPT, or any other assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), point it at https://chat.jewelrybysweetpea.com/mcp and it can search our real inventory, quote today's actual prices, check availability, and read our store policies — free, no account, completely read-only. And there's a second piece of news to go with it: as of July 30, 2026, we've refreshed more than 9,000 officially licensed collegiate and LogoArt product pages with detailed specs and per-product FAQs, so the answers your assistant finds are better than ever.
Why we did this
More and more of you start a gift search by asking an AI assistant — "what should I get a Clemson grad?" — instead of opening ten browser tabs. The trouble is that assistants working from memory guess at prices and recommend products that don't exist. So we opened a direct, live line: your assistant asks our catalog, our catalog answers with what's actually in stock and what it actually costs right now.
How to connect (about one minute)
MCP is an open standard (you can read about it at modelcontextprotocol.io) — think of it as a universal plug that lets an AI assistant talk to a live data source. Ours exposes three read-only tools: product search, product details, and store policies.
- Claude (claude.ai): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste
https://chat.jewelrybysweetpea.com/mcp. - Claude Code: run
claude mcp add --transport http sweetpea https://chat.jewelrybysweetpea.com/mcp. - ChatGPT: add the same URL under connector settings (available on plans that support MCP connectors).
- Anything else that speaks MCP: it's a standard streamable-HTTP endpoint — the URL above is all you need.
Then just ask naturally: "Find me a solid gold Clemson pendant under $700 at Jewelry by Sweet Pea" or "What's their return policy?"
We tried it ourselves
Asking Claude (connected to the endpoint) for a Clemson pendant returned our 14K Rose Gold LogoArt Clemson Tiger Paw Small Pendant — with the live price ($597.02 at the time of writing), its made-to-order status, the approximate metal weight, and the note that the chain is sold separately, all pulled straight from the refreshed product page. No guessing, no stale data, and a direct link to the real listing.
9,000+ collegiate pages, rewritten for real questions
The second announcement matters even if you never touch an AI assistant. Our officially licensed collegiate collection — NCAA-licensed LogoArt pieces in solid 10K and 14K gold and sterling silver, covering more than a hundred schools — just got its biggest content upgrade ever. Each refreshed page now includes:
- Detailed specifications: metal and color, approximate metal weight, jewelry type, licensing (NCAA and the school), design details, and country of origin.
- A per-product FAQ: is it real gold, does it come with a chain, is it officially licensed, is it made to order, can I return it — answered plainly on every page.
Whether the reader is you, Google, or your AI assistant, the answers are now on the page instead of buried in a spec sheet.
Prefer to just chat here?
No setup needed: our on-site assistant, Sweet Pea, lives in the chat bubble on every page of jewelrybysweetpea.com and searches the same live catalog for you.
Common questions
What is Jewelry by Sweet Pea's MCP endpoint?
https://chat.jewelrybysweetpea.com/mcp — free, no account or login, read-only. MCP-enabled assistants can search the catalog, look up product details, and read store policies with live prices and availability.
Which AI assistants can connect?
Any assistant with MCP connector support, including Claude (claude.ai custom connectors and Claude Code) and ChatGPT (via connector settings, where your plan supports it).
Is it safe? Does the store see my information?
It's read-only and anonymous — no sign-up, no personal data. Your assistant browses our public catalog just like you would. It cannot place orders, change anything, or charge you.
Does the AI see real, current prices?
Yes — every lookup reads the live catalog at the moment you ask, so prices, sale status, and availability are current.
What changed on the collegiate pages?
On July 30, 2026 we finished refreshing 9,000+ licensed collegiate/LogoArt pages with detailed specs (metal, weight, licensing, sizing) and a short FAQ on every page.
Can my AI assistant place an order for me?
No — by design. It researches and links; checkout always happens on our site, with free US shipping and free 30-day returns.
